Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Ark of Veterans official raffle series. By purchasing a ticket or participating in our giveaways, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. All proceeds from our raffles directly support our mission to provide essential services and resources to veterans.

1. Eligibility

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Residency: Participation is open to legal residents of Australia, subject to local laws. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure their participation is legal in their jurisdiction.

  • Exclusions: Employees, board members, and immediate family members of The Ark of Veterans are ineligible to win.

2. Entry and Tickets

  • Non-Refundable: All ticket sales are final. As these are charitable donations for the benefit of veterans, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

  • Entry Limits: Unless otherwise stated, there is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase.

  • Verification: The Ark of Veterans reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any winner.

3. The Prize

  • Description: The prize is awarded "as-is." No warranties are expressed or implied by The Ark of Veterans.

  • Costs & Taxes: The winner is responsible for all applicable local, state, and federal taxes, as well as licensing, registration, insurance, and transport costs from the pickup location, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • No Cash Alternative: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Winner Selection & Notification

  • The Draw: Winners are selected via a random drawing process.

  • Notification: The winner will be contacted via the email address and/or phone number provided at the time of ticket purchase.

  • The Ark of Veterans will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of the initial contact attempt, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected via a secondary random drawing.

5. Publicity & Privacy

  • By accepting the prize, the winner grants The Ark of Veterans the right to use their name, likeness, and city of residence for promotional purposes (social media, website, newsletters) without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

  • Personal information collected during entry will be used solely for the administration of the raffle and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
